Ensuring children have access to online learning or make contact with school to request use of additional resources. E.g. laptops
A full timetable of curriculum provision is provided for children learning at home. (See EYFS, KS1 and KS2 exemplars below)
Main learning platform is the Video Centre on the School Website
Parents are asked to ensure that children are able to access the Home Learning printed resource pack and where possible they have a suitable space to do this from. Through communications sent from school, parents are reminded about access to online learning and how to make contact with school to request use of additional resources if necessary. E.g. laptops.
Children are taught online via pre-recorded video lessons on the Video Centre accessed through the school website. This provision is supplemented with additional work set via the Home Learning pages on the School Website and additional work packs printed and delivered home. Additional links to the Oak National Academy curriculum and White Rose Curriculum available and support learning
Work will be provided for children through Home Learning Packs delivered home each fortnight. Online pre-recorded teaching videos are available on the Video Centre
All children receive a phone call home from Class Teachers to check on their progress and well-being. Children and parents and carers are able to contact Class Teachers via e-mail
Work set via www.olqoh.com further supports work in Maths, English, Science and Computing. Additional online platforms support learning in wider curriculum areas e.g. Charanga Music & TTRS
Communication between school and home will predominantly be carried out via email with weekly phone calls home being made. The school phone line will continue to be in use during normal opening hours regardless of any school closure
Most parental queries can be answered by referring to information on the school website and with contact being made via email with your child’s Class Teacher
